Data licence
Civie.ie uses public information from the Houses of the Oireachtas. The Oireachtas makes eligible open data available under its Public Sector Information (Open Data) Licence, incorporating the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).
Reusing Oireachtas material
When reusing material covered by the licence, you must:
- Identify the Houses of the Oireachtas, or the relevant licensor, as the creator.
- Keep the supplied copyright notice and any disclaimer notices.
- Include a reference to the Oireachtas licence and the CC BY 4.0 terms.
Check what is covered
The licence applies only to eligible documents. It does not cover broadcast proceedings, third-party rights the Oireachtas cannot license, or certain other excluded material. Check the source and any notices supplied with individual datasets before reusing them.
